The owner and co-founder of Casetrax, he has had a lifelong passion for entrepreneurship and project and employee management. Mr. Evans graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in community relations. With more than 20 years of entrepreneurial experience, he has successfully run his own real estate firm, raising over $43 million from private equity venture capital and later securing a $100 million credit facility from institutional lenders, building the portfolio to over $100 million in performing loans within a six year time frame. In addition to his real estate business, Mr. Evans has also started a successful independent insurance career. Mr. Evans’ insurance agency, which primarily focuses on the senior market, has more than 20 licensed agents situated across six different states. He is highly knowledgeable about locating vendors, marketing new business, and building lasting customer relationships. He has always enjoyed using his training and skills to provide satisfaction for others. After witnessing a great need for improvement in communication and efficiency in surgical case coordination, Mr. Evans decided to turn his knowledge and experience within the healthcare market into a business.
David Franklin is a founding partner of CaseTrax. He has 15 years experience overseeing teams responsible for providing safe and reliable Operations across the globe. His passions include Finance, Risk Mitigation, and Client Relations. He has helped champion operational improvements and synergies that have resulted in consistent profitability and customer satisfaction. The experience gained from the leadership positions he has held at United Airlines and Rand R.S. Capital will help propel CaseTrax to the forefront of the digital medical landscape. David graduated from the University of Alabama.
Russ Darrow is a founding partner of Casetrax and will serve as the CEO. He is responsible for creating, communicating, and implementing the overall vision for the company.
Prior to Casetrax, Russ spent 15 years working with Depuy, Synthes, and Globus 3 market leading companies in the spinal implant industry. As a Senior Spine Consultant, he was involved in the sale of over $30M in spinal implants. While Russ received numerous awards along the way, he also noticed an obvious need for improvement in surgical case communication. In the capital-intensive industry, a great deal of collaboration is required to meet the needs of the patient, surgeon, and staff. A company was born.
Russ earned his B.S.B.A. and M.B.A. from East Carolina University, graduating with Beta Gamma Sigma honors. He is a member of the East Carolina Educational Foundation and also serves as a GP for the Guardian Opportunity fund. He enjoys golf, snowboarding, attending college football games and spending time with his family.
